horrible. shoddy work and ineffective lighting, December 9, 2011 By  N. Kanter - See all my reviews    Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: 2pc Chinese Style Paper Table Lanterns by Winston Brands The picture makes it look like these are nice lamps which would provide great ambience for my desk at work. However, it should be noted that these lamps are VERY POOR QUALITY. the paper is not colored, as in the photo, the spiraling stick which gives it shape was broken on one of the two lamps which arrived, and the light is surprisingly small and ineffective - it is literally smaller than a button. I thought it was a joke when I saw it - the "light" for this lamp is so dim that it is difficult to tell when it is on. it provides some ambience i suppose, but no real lighting. I would have returned this item but the shipping costs were more than the lamps. Do yourself a favor and keep looking. you can do much better than these.
